Hi everybodyI have a question concerning the firepower modifier due to Troop quality.Is this +1 for elite troops only used when firing small arms vs infantry or would it also be used when firing with mortars vs infantry, because mortars use an HE Firepower value.?:woohoo:

Going by this excerpt from Chapter 9, page 9.1, 2nd column, Firepower Modifier section:"When resolving small arms fire, infantry stands make what is called a Firepower Roll. This modifier is applied to the Target Number before making the roll."I would say that no, the Firepower modifier is only used when firing small arms. Mortars are not considered Small Arms. :)

Aye that's what I thought, but our german general was believing that this modifier applies to all Firepower descriptions.Thank you
