Here's a thread for posting pics in our "Race for Leningrad" Campaign. It's basically a race between elements of the 1st and 8th Panzer Division which we alternate between the Soviet side to stop the other team. We have had 2 battles thus far and both teams are neck and neck at Narva. The pics below of our last battle (#2) where the 8th Panzer Division made their punch at the outset of Barbarosa. Germans slowly making their advance. So far the only threat they have encountered are barrages along the open terrain. Posted Image

Trotsky,No - not yet. The inherent difficulty of any campaign is getting the principals together, and with the holidays and life in general, we have been playing single scenarios and the French campaign. So you know, the rules for this campaign are located in the Scenario Repository, here:Race for LeningradGregory

So after round 1, which both sides got a chance to pounce the Soviet fron line...and they did. The results after the battle in rolling for adavnce and attrition both ended up the same as far as "advance" is concerned. So both the 1st and 8th Panzer Division teams pounced the front line and made a screaming advance all the way to Luga. The second round begins with Kampfgruppe Schwarzkopf which has to fend off a Soviet Counterstrike in the outskirts of Luga. The Soviets enter the map from the east. The Germans are set up west of the road going north to south. Posted Image
